Academic Department

We are proud to announce the development of the HHYC Academic Department, which is set to be located at 862 Front Street, Suite B in Cottonport and directed by Ms. Anessa Sauseda.

The Academic Department offers programs focusing on equitable educational guidance, mentorship, and development. These programs include Affordable Tutoring, ACT Prep Courses, hands-on Academic Workshops, and more.

How Does Educational Support Help My Student?

Unique Learning Experiences

While the classroom is a great learning tool, allowing students the opportunity to learn in new environments with different tools gives students a different understanding of the concepts learned in the traditional classroom.

Encourages Independence & Responsibility

Programs such as study courses and tutoring will help students build a sense of responsibility for their grades as well as foster a sense of independence and control over their educational outcomes.

Improves Social Skills

Exposure to unique learning environments also means exposure to new students in their alternative classroom. Building new relationships with other students, as well as working together to achieve a result, allows students to form a bond and develop important social skills.

Provides a Challenge

Some children do not need educational "assistance," but rather educational stimulation. Students who surpass their educational milestones can sometimes feel left out in the traditional classroom, so further academic support can help provide more challenges and stimulation to those students who just need a little extra.
