Academic Workshops
We understand that our local teachers have a large responsibility to pack the most curriculum into a very limited instructional period. This means that enjoyable, hands-on learning activities will sometimes take the cut in the classroom. HHYC wants to make sure our local students have equitable access to fun learning activities that reinforce the concepts they have gathered at school.

Our next academic workshop will be our Space/Solar System Workshop on July 20th from 10AM-3PM. A hot lunch will be provided and students grade 2nd-5th are encouraged to attend.
This workshop's focus will focus on the Solar System, extraterrestrial beings (ALIENS!), and the importance of space exploration.
The workshop fee is $15 and a $10 deposit is due upon registration. In honor of Space Exploration Day, all students who bring in anything with an alien on it the day of class will receive $5 off of their workshop fee!

Workshop Fees and Financial Aid
In exchange for the amazing services provided in HHYC's Academic Workshops, we will always have a fee listed for each of our workshops.
In an efforts to keep these workshops affordable, HHYC will always offer an opportunity for students to gain workshop credits OR a financial aid opportunity.
Please see each workshop flyer for details on how you can register your student for an academic workshop for a lowered fee.
For any HHYC workshop, a deposit must be paid in order to secure the student's spot. All workshop payments can be paid via cash, check, CashApp, PayPal, or Facebook Pay.
Cash can be brought to the HHYC Main Office at 319 Carmen Street in Cottonport and checks can be mailed to Post Office Box 19.
